Our Youth Hub is a safe haven for all neurodivergent young people. Here, we provide opportunities for them to develop their health and fitness while also building their social skills, confidence, and independence. We hold a safe space where they can feel comfortable and accepted.
Our passion for supporting young people is spearheaded by Gail Lavery and Charlie Stansfield, who work tirelessly to ensure that every young person feels comfortable, accepted, and has a place where they belong.
The Youth Hub is part funded by Rochdale Council, whose support helps us continue providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for neurodivergent young people.

Youth and Partnership Manager
Gail Lavery
Hi, I'm Gail, and I help run the Neurodiverse Youth Hub at the Well Foundation. I'm 50 years old, married to my husband Andy, and we have two autistic adult sons. I was diagnosed as autistic myself at the age of 49, which has given me an even deeper understanding of the importance of acceptance, support, and community.
I love spending time outdoors, whether that's going for a walk or working in the garden, i love gardening and spending time with my family. At home, I'm kept company by my cat, Tucker, and my dog, Nancy.
I'm passionate about helping young people and their families feel welcome, understood, and supported, and I'm proud to be part of creating a safe, inclusive space where everyone can be themselves.

I believe that all young people have the potential to achieve and succeed, no matter what their background is.
I am passionate about ensuring that all young people have access to careers guidance and have support to make realistic decisions about their future.

Social Hub
This is young people's chance to gather and develop their social skills, to have a place to ensure they feel confident around others but also confident within themselves.
